Vickie Goffredo is the Executive Assistant and an Account Executive for
Strategic Communications Consultants.
Vickie brings a wealth of experience to Strategic Communications
Consultants. A retired teacher from the Philadelphia School District, Vickie
has worked with many companies and in many different fields.
During her teaching career, which spanned over 30 years, Vickie also
served as a Staff Representative for the Pennsylvania Federation of
Teachers, where she was responsible for organizing, negotiating,
lobbying, training local leaders and members, and writing newsletters and
brochures. She also was responsible for preparing and presenting
grievances, arbitrations, and unemployment compensation claims and
appeals.
Vickie was Vice President of Beorn Communications for nine years. In this
capacity, she lobbied the State Legislature and handled print advertising
and public relations.
After retiring from the teaching profession in 1998, Vickie opened a retail
jewelry boutique called TreAnna’s Adornments in The Shops at Liberty
Place in Philadelphia. As the business manager of the store, Vickie was
responsible for sales, purchasing, merchandising, advertising, and
financial management.
In 2004, Vickie was the Volunteer Coordinator for Eastern Pennsylvania
for America Votes. In that capacity, she was in charge of recruiting and
managing volunteers in the region during the presidential campaign.
Pennsylvanians voted in record numbers that year.
Vickie also brought her political experience to a mayoral race in Allentown
in 2005, where she was the Field Director and Volunteer Coordinator.
For Strategic Communications Consultants, Vickie’s vast experience with
union issues, public relations, communications, and political organizing, is
an asset to our clients. As an Account Executive, she will make sure that
our clients’ needs are met promptly and efficiently.
